Cancellation Policy
Terms and Condition of counseling services: Confidentiality: In general, law as well as the ethical principles that guide the practice of psychology protects the privacy of all communications between a patient and a psychologist. Thus information about your interaction with us, can only be released to others with your written consent. There are situations where I have a legal obligation to take action to protect others from harm, even if information about your treatment is revealed. When there is suspicion that a child, elderly person or disabled person is being abused, I am required to take protective actions, such as notifying the potential victim, contacting the police, and/or seeking hospitalization for the client. In any case, if such need arises we will first consult with you. Appointments: Once an appointment is scheduled you cannot cancel or re-schedule unless a 24 hours prior notice is given. All payments submitted to Okinawa Counseling are under our "Non-refund Policy". Payment for services may only be made with credit card through PayPal. All Payments are due before the session starts. When needed, I will provide you with an itemized invoice for services and payments made that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement.
